My friend from abroad

                      

                  I have a friend who lives in Malaysia, in Kajang to be exact. Her name is Nessarose Wong, but I usually call her with a simple “Nessa”. I know her at first from her facebook fanspage. She is a college student who loves to cosplay, that’s why I can find her page easily . She is 2 years older than me and she is very independent in her daily life. 

                She was born in 22 November 1995, at Kajang, Malaysia. She told me that she had a memory when she was a little girl. It was her childhood’s memory  when her hair was too long,  she sat in front of her house door and her mum knew what it means, her mum came to her with scissors and had her hair cut. She also had a funny memories when she was in kindergarten and primary school, her friends called her name “pineapple” because of her Chinese name’s pronunciation is almost the same as saying “pineapple” in Chinese. But she only took it as a joke and she wasn’t mad at all.

                She is a friendly,open-minded and easy-going person. Its obvious that she has a lot of friends abroad, including me from Indonesia and other nation such as Hongkong, Thailand and Taiwan. On her secondary school, she has buddies and her buddies name were Kon Mei Che and Josephine Luk, They were good friends and until now they are still keep in touch to each other. She is bad at math, same like me haha but she is extremely clever on Chinese and English subject. Also when she was still in secondary school, almost every evening after her school had over she always spent her time playing badminton with her friends, not just female friends but also male friends.

                She attended a college in Malaysia, called New Era College, it is far from her house so she stayed on a boarding house and shared a room with her roommate named Ng Hue Yee, they were in the different major but same college. They had good memories together, like sharing food together, helping each other homework even though sometimes they didn’t even know what they wrote. She entered college because she wasn’t satisfied with her knowledge and she wanted to learn more. Almost forget, her major is journalism, she took it because she thought it was interesting, and her decision was right, until now she still likes it and interesting. Also, now she doesn’t stay in boarding house anymore because her eldest brother always pick her up everyday and escort her from her home to college vice versa.

                When she was still staying in boarding house, she looked for a part time job, and her first part time job was a cashier worker in a distro/clothes store. She got a good salary but she had troubled with the time of the work, it was from 3 up to 9 p.m. So , after 6 months working there, she resigned. Her worst job was teaching assistant in a kindergarten, she is friendly indeed, but she is not that patient to a lot of children and she sometimes mad because of the children making too much noise. She only stayed on that job for 1 month and then she quited. After she quited that job, her brother was able to escort her so she doesn’t have to work until now.

                Talking about her siblings, she has 2 older brothers, the first one is 11 years older than her, and the second one is 10 years older than her. So, she is the youngest child in her family. Surprisingly she doesn’t go that well in saying opinion with her parents also her parents are sometimes over-protective. The one who knows her so well and mostly help her is her eldest brother, they also go well together in almost every aspect. Like hobbies, job and favorite food.

                Even though, her parents are very protective, she doesn’t have problems in love. She also doesn’t believe fall in love in first sight. She said that its only love for children and its not a serious and true love. She hasn’t told me about her love story, but looks like she already has a boyfriend, because last time I chatted to her she was preparing a very good gift for “someone special” to her. She is a very good listener and she talk less. By knowing her personality, I bet her boyfriend is the opposite of her personality. Like, cheerful, talkative and has an ice-breaker personality.

                If we say something about her interest,journalism. It has a relation with politics. She wished democration political parties ( General Election ) in her country will be better if the government prevent political supremacy by some people with no responsibility. The first chinese emperor named Wu-hou inspired her with her life story and how she lead china back then. It was full with justice and no corruption was found on her time.

                I usually talk with her about something she has been wanting to do since she was kid and what she hated. She wish she could fly into the sky and leaving all of her burden here in the earth. Sounds childish, but sometimes I agree with that, because college’s assignments and tasks will left you without free time anyway.  And what she hated is losing people she loves, because it will make her sad and lose her passion, for a while. Another and last thing about her is her another wish, she wish she could land on the moon and explore it. She would try her best to investigate it and takes photo of earth from the moon. Well, I don’t know how she could possibly do that, but dreaming and wishing is free. So, from her I learned that nobody should be prohibited to dream about something, even though its impossible for the time being, but it may occur in the future.

              Her latest job is become a model, also a cosplayer. That's how i met her in the first place anyway :). In the end, i hope i can meet her sometimes, in fact i want to meet all of my cyber friends from abroad so i can talk to them and learn some things about them, like their culture, language and so on.
